i have just returned from a really, really, really lovely week in the UK. details later.

but right now, i'm on a netflix spree........while i was gone, my parents suddenly decided they wanted to join the modern era and bought a DVD player and a membership to netflix. and they picked some really surprising movies, as well. last night we watched "brown sugar." hmm. it was good, too. i knew they would like it. now i am picking out movies for the family. i love showing my parents movies they would never pick for themselves. and we always enjoy them. yay! bring on the popcorn. (which, despite my protestations, i am beginning to enjoy as well. pop pop pop.)
